Greetings.  A little bit about me.  I am a husband and father living out in the Desert Southwest, in Phoenix, Arizona.  You might remember seeing Phoenix in the news a few years ago… when it rained.  They call it a “dry heat”, but I’ve also heard it referred to as “really  #$*%#  hot!”  My wonderful wife’s name is Janet and we met in med school.  We have a “prettiful” (her word) little daughter named Emma, who turns 2 on October 29th.  I am working as a staff physician a local urgent care company, Alliance Urgent Care.  I am also starting to do some health coaching which so far seems to be a nice compliment to doctoring.  I am looking to be more healthy, and find ways to help my family, friends and others be more healthy too.

Originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma,  I went on to Oklahoma State University.  Before med school, I spent about 3 years exploring the East Coast, learning to ski at Snowshoe, West Virginia (I didn’t know either!), and being your average Joe Beach Bum on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  These adventures were great times and great learning experiences and, I suspect, set the stage for some of the values and philosophies I have discovered buried within myself over the past couple of years.  But enough about me… how ’bout them Broncos!
